Waste4Soil webinar in collaboration with BintoBean
AREFLH is a partner on the WASTE4SOIL project “Turning food waste into sustainable soil improvers for better soil health and improved food system”. It aims at developing applicable recycling technical pathways to transform Food Processing Residues (FPR) into improvers, through a circular, system, and multi-actor approach. All food chain actors are involved at the regional level, thereby closing specific loops (nutrients, organic matter, water)
The project is organizing an online webinar on 9th November, through its collaboration with Bin2Bean.
This is the first in a series of peer-learning webinars designed to strengthen knowledge exchange and connect industrial and urban perspectives on biowaste management.
The webinar will explore how biowaste can be transformed into valuable soil improvers and how technological solutions developed for industrial applications can be adapted to the needs of municipalities and urban environments.
Through the exchange of industrial and municipal experiences, participants will discuss innovative technologies, identify key opportunities and challenges, and explore ways to adapt and scale up solutions for more sustainable biowaste management and healthier soils.
This collaboration aims to foster knowledge sharing, strengthen cooperation between different stakeholders, and accelerate the transition towards more sustainable biowaste management and healthier soils.
