Plenary NOVASOIL Meeting


AREFLH is a partner of the project NOVASOIL project  focuses on “Innovative on Innovative business models for soil health”. In the framework of the project, we have the new output of “Innovative Business Models for Soil Health.


The Third Plenary Meeting of NOVASOIL was held on the 3rd and 4th of April in Sofia (Bulgaria). The goal of the meeting was to provide an overview of

  • the activities held in this eighteenth month of the project,
  • the lessons learned from the partial development of end-users-led soil health business cases framework,
  • the analysis and development of business models to promote soil health.

The meeting also feed the development of the toolbox of the incentives. In addition, the consortium presented a preliminary analysis plan of the current policies related to the soil and explained the creation of the Hub platform.

Last but not least, the participants discussed the preparation of the period report of the one year and half of the project.


During the meeting the partners discussed the activities that will be held in the next six months and the presentation of the chosen experiment case study. The partners of the consortium decided in which countries this will be held and the parameters. 

Other discussions focussed on the activities related to the policies. In the next months there will be interviews with different stakeholders and it is very important to know their opinions regarding the main objective of the project. In addition, workshops related to this theme will be conducted and different stakeholders will be invited to participate from different countries.


The project partners also exchanged on  the Community of Practices (CoP). In this activity, at the end 2024, a second workshop will be organised during the EU week dedicated to the Mission Soil.
