AREFLH welcomes 4 new associated members

In this first trimester of 2021, AREFLH welcomes 4 new members in its network : 4 organisations in the field of the fruit and vegetable production. These are the AOPn Strawberries from France, the APOn Tomatoes and Cucumbers from France, Cénaldi and BVEO.

Thanks to these new memberships, AREFLH strengthens its representativeness and now covers 10 EU countries: Germany, Austria, Belgium, Spain, France, Greece, Italy, Ireland , the Netherlands and Portugal.

Tomates Concombres aopn

The National Association of Producers' Organisations "Tomatoes and Cucumbers from France" brings together more than 1 000 producers across France. They gathered around a Quality Charter. The professionals who are members share their know-how, their commitment to the environment, the quality, taste and diversity of their products.

 CENALDI 2020

Cénaldi is a French national association approved by the French Ministry of Agriculture since January 2009. It brings together organisations of producers of vegetables specifically intended to be frozen or canned. The association is recognized nationwide for its field vegetables for industrial use, excluding tomatoes, mushrooms and sauerkraut cabbage.
It now brings together all the Producer Organisations (POs) of vegetables for the industry, that is to say 18 POs, bringing together 4 020 producers.

AOPN fraise Nouveau

Created in 2008, the National Association of Organisation of Producers Fraises de France (Strawberies from France) brings together more than 350 producers spread over 5 large production areas in France: the South-West, Brittany, the Val-de-Loire, the South-East and the Rhône Valley and the North and the Aisne. The Association brings together around half of French strawberry production with 25 000 tonnes produced in 2019-2020. Its objectives are the animation of the network of partner companies at national level, the technical animation of the sector and the development of the notoriety of the varieties of French strawberries, Gariguette, Ciflorette, Charlotte and the Rondes.

 BVEO transparent

BVEO is Germany’s association of Fruit and Vegetable Producer Organisations. It is a confederation of 40 members (30 producer organisations and 10 individual companies) of the German fruit and vegetable industry. BVEO was established in 1970 and represents the political interests of its members, organises appearances at trade fairs and conventions and coordinates PR and marketing tasks.
