03/07/12 : Countryside of rising strawberries

At the end of June, the association of the producers and exporters of strawberries of Huelva announced the balance-sheet of the marketing year 2011-2012. The production culminated to 302,600 T, rising of 19% compared with the preceding countryside. In value, the sector adds up 404.1 ME (+ 18%). On the whole, 75% of volumes were intended for the market of the expenses and the remainder (75 900 T) for industry, that is to say + 38% of volumes towards this outlet, while the volumes dedicated to the expenses progressed from 19%. According To association, “the campaign of strawberries started well, then underwent a light withdrawal during the first fifteen days of April causing a fall of the prices and the withdrawal of the strawberries of the market of the expenses to intend them for industry. But the first weeks of May, consumption in expenses began again. ” In the Andalusian region, the production of raspberries reached 11,010 T, quantity similar to the last year. Some 160 T were intended for the industry. In value, the prices increased by 2% compared with last season and the trades bordered the 70.75 M €. The productions of bilberries increased by 36% and the prices of 6% and those of blackberries of 30% in volumes and 28% in value.

03/07/12: Campaña de fresas en alza

A finales de junio, la asociación de los productores y exportadores de fresas de Huelva anunció el balance de la campaña 2011-2012. La producción culminó a 302.600 t, en alza de 19% comparada a la campaña anterior. En valor, el sector suma 404,1 ME (+ 18%). En total, un 75% de los volúmenes se destinaron al mercado de los gastos y el resto (75 900 t) a la industria, lo que representa + un 38% de los volúmenes hacia esta salida, mientras que los volúmenes dedicados a los gastos progresaron un 19%. Según la asociación, “la campaña de fresas empezó bien, luego sufrió una ligera retirada durante los quince primeros días de abril que causaban una caída de los precios y la retirada de las fresas del mercado de los gastos para destinarlos a la industria. Pero las primeras semanas de mayo, el consumo en gastos reanudó. ” En la región andaluz, la producción de frambuesas alcanzó 11.010 t, cantidad similar al último año.

Se destinaron Aproximadamente 160 t a la industria. En valor, los precios aumentaron un 2% comparados a la temporada pasado y las ventas se acercaron a las 70,75 M€. Las producciones de arándanos progresaron un 36% y los precios del 6% y las de las moras del 30% en volúmenes y del 28% en valor.
